Interest has been high since the Global EMS Forum webinars with a number of requests from North American ambulance organisations for more information about the Mercedes Sprinter ambulances we use within Australia and by other ambulance authorities in Asia and Europe. In response we are creating a new ambulance visibility webpage about Sprinters.
Over the next few weeks Ashley Manton from ACT Ambulance (Operations Support – fleet management & procurement) will be helping to add interesting and informative details about the features found in Mercedes Sprinters, the how & why of ambulance conversions and some examples of the interior layouts. Australian fleet managers from all Australian States & Territories regularly meet to share the latest information. They also consult with Mercedes design and engineering teams each year, providing new ideas and feedback about the Australian ambulance conversions.
